Dangme Language

Dangme also known as Adangme or Adaŋgbi is a language spoken in South-eastern Ghana by the Dangbe|Dangbeli people.

It belongs to the Kwa group of languages which also includes Anyin, Baoulé and Ga languages.

Dangme language has approximately 2,000,000 native speakers.

Dangme is an official language in Ghana.

The language has 6 dialects; Ada, Ningo, Osu, Shai, Gbugbla and Krobo.
