Kaonde Language

Kaonde also known as Chikahonde or Kikaonde or Luba kaonde or Kahonde or Chikaonde or Kawonde is a language spoken in northwest and central regions of Zambia by the Bakaonde|Kaonde people.

Kaonde language has approximately 500,000 native speakers.

Kaonde is an official language in Zambia.

In the DRCongo, Kaonde speakers are known as Luba
