Bari Language

Bari also known as Kutuk is a language spoken in Juba, Kajo Keji and Lainya counties in South sudan and Koboko and Yumbe districts in Uganda by the Bari people.

It belongs to the Karo group of languages which also includes Kakwa language.

Bari language has approximately 1,500,000 native speakers.

The language has 8 dialects; Ligo, Kuku, Nyepu, Mandari, Bari, Nyangbara, Pöjulu and Kakwa.
