Konkomba Language

Konkomba also known as Likpakpaln is a language spoken in Ghana and Togo by the Konkomba people.

It belongs to the Gur group of languages which also includes Kusaal language.

Konkomba language has approximately 1,000,000 native speakers.

The language has 9 dialects; Limonkpeln, Likoon, Lichabol, Linankpel, Linankpel (Nankpantiib), Likpalil (Bikpalib), Linandeln (Binandim), Lisagmaln (Sagmantiib) and Linalol.

Note: The sounds c, h, q, v, x and z do not occur in Konkomba language.
