Berom Language

Berom also known as Birom is a language spoken in Plateau State, central Nigeria by the Berom people.

It belongs to the Beromic group of languages which also includes Cara and Iten languages.

Berom language has approximately 1,000,000 native speakers.

The language has 6 dialects; Gyel–Kuru–Vwang, Du–Foron, Fan–Ropp–Rim–Riyom–Heikpang, Bachit, Gashish and Rahoss-Tahoss.
