Argungu Fishing Festival

One of Nigeria's most popular traditional festivals

Features one of the world's largest fishing competitions where thousands of fishermen dive into the Matan Fada River, accompanied by agricultural shows and cultural displays. The festival is recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage.
