Deputy President Swearing-in Day

Public holiday for swearing in of new Deputy President Kithure Kindiki

Following the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, this holiday was declared for the swearing-in ceremony of Professor Kithure Kindiki, the former Interior Cabinet Secretary, as the new Deputy President. The ceremony took place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.
