Kichonyi Language

Kichonyi also known as Achonyi or Chichonyi or Conyi is a language spoken in Kilifi County, Kenya by the Chonyi people.

It belongs to the Mijikenda group of languages which also includes Kidigo, Kiduruma, Kigiriama, Kambe, Jibana, Kauma, Ribe, Rabana and Rabai languages.

Kichonyi language has approximately 300,000 native speakers.
