Kpelle Language

Kpelle also known as Guerze or Kpwesi or Kpessi or Sprd or Mpessi or Berlu or Gbelle or Bere or Gizima or Buni is a language spoken in Guinea and Liberia by the Kpelle people.

It belongs to the Mande group of languages which also includes Kono, Kuranko and Susu languages.

Kpelle language has approximately 2,000,000 native speakers.
