Nkoya Language

Nkoya is an endangered language spoken in Zambia by the Nkoya people.

Nkoya language has approximately 48,000 native speakers.

The language has 5 dialects; Nkoya proper, Mbwera (Mbowela), Kolwe (Lukolwe), Shangi (Lushangi) and Shasha (Mashasha).
