Tama Language

Tama also known as Damut or Miisiirii or Tamok or Tamongobo or Tamot is a language spoken in Ouaddai, eastern Chad and Darfur, western Sudan by the Tama people.

It belongs to the Tamam group of languages .

Tama language has approximately 400,000 native speakers.

The language has 6 dialects; Girga, Haura, Orra, Erenga, Mileere and Murase.
