Tarok Language

Tarok also known as Appa or Yergam or Yergum is a lingua franca language spoken in Langtang area of southeast Plateau State, Nigeria.

It belongs to the Plateau group of languages which also includes Akum and Tyap languages.

Tarok language has approximately 1,000,001 native speakers.

The language has 5 dialects; iTarok, iZini, Səlyər, iTarok Oga aSa and iGyang.
