Bemba Language

Bemba also known as Chibemba or Cibemba is a language spoken in North-eastern Zambia, Tshopo Province (DRC) and the coast of Lake Tanganyika of the Kigoma Region in Tanzania by the Bemba people.

Bemba language has approximately 6,000,000 native speakers.

Bemba is an official language in Zambia.

The language has 10 dialects; Chishinga, Lomotwa, Ngoma, Nwesi, Lala, Kabende, Luunda, Mukulu, Ng’umbo and Unga.
