Suba also known as Olusuba or Ekisuba or Orusuba is a vulnerable language spoken in Mfangano, Rusinga,Takawiri and Kibwogi Islands, Kaksingri, Ngeri, Gwasi hills, Migori and Muhuru Bay in Kenya and North Mara, in Tanzania by the Suba|Abasuba people.
Suba language has approximately 200,000 native speakers.
The language has 12 dialects; Olusuba, Ekisuba, Ekisuva, Ekikune (Ekisingiri), Ekingoe, Ekigasse (Ekigassi), Ekisuuna, Ekiregi, Ekimuhuru, Ekisembethe, Ekisweta and Ekiwaganjo.
Of these dialects, the three most widely spoken are Olusuba, Ekisuba and Ekisuva.
