Kimeru also known as Meru is a language spoken in Eastern and Northern slopes of Mount Kenya..
Kimeru language has approximately 3,000,000 native speakers.
The language has 6 dialects; Igembe, Tigania, Imenti, Tharaka, Mwimbi–Muthambi and Chuka.
Similar to the neighbouring languages of Kiembu and Gikuyu.
