Kitharaka Language

Kitharaka also known as Saraka or Tharaka or Sharoka or Atharaka is a language spoken in Embu, Meru, and Tharaka-Nithi counties in Kenya.

Kitharaka language has approximately 300,000 native speakers.

The language has 4 dialects; Gatue, Igoki, Ntugi and Thagicu.

Some consider It a dialect of the Kimeru language.
