Kunama Language

Kunama also known as Baada or Baaza or Diila is a language spoken in Gash-Barka region in western Eritrea and Tigray region in Ethiopia by the Kunama people.

Kunama language has approximately 310,000 native speakers.

The language has 10 dialects; Barka, Marda, Aimara, Odasa, Tika, Lakatakura, Sokodasa, Takazze-Selit, Ilit and Bitama.
