Nyamwezi Language

Nyamwezi also known as Kinyamweezi or Kinyamuesi or Kinyamwesi or Manjamuesi or Mwezi or Namwezi or Nyamwesi or Nyawezi is a language spoken in Kigoma, Rukwa and Tabora regions of Tanzania by the Nyamwezi people.

Nyamwezi language has approximately 2,500,000 native speakers.

The language has 10 dialects; Nyanyembe, Nyambiu, Takama, Ndaala, Mweri, Rambo, Galaganza, Uyui, Nangwila and Ilwana.
