Ongota Language

Ongota also known as Birale or Birayle or Ifa'ongota is a critically endangered language spoken in Southwest Ethiopia.

Ongota language has approximately 56 native speakers.

The language is being abandoned in favour of neighbouring Ts’amakko (Cushitic) and is only spoken by Ongota elders
