Runyankole Language

Runyankole also known as Nyankole or Runyalkole or Nkore is a language spoken in Southwestern Uganda in the Mbarara, Bushenyi, Ntungamo, Kiruhura, Ibanda, Isingiro, Rukungiri and Kitagwenda districts by the Banyankore people.

Runyankole language has approximately 3,200,000 native speakers.

The language has 3 dialects; Hima, Hororo and Orutagwenda.
