Terik also known as is a language spoken in Nandi, Vihiga, Uasin Gishu and Nakuru counties in Kenya by the Terik people.
It belongs to the Kalenjin group of languages which also includes Keiyo, Kipsigis, Marakwet, Nandi, Pokot, Sabaot, Tugen and Kupsabiny languages.
Terik language has approximately 400,000 native speakers.
