Dagaare also known as Dagara or Birifor is a language spoken in Burkina faso, Cote divoire and Ghana by the Dagaaba people.

Dagaare language has approximately 3,000,000 native speakers.

The language has 3 dialects; Northern, Central and Southern.

In Ghana it is mainly called Dagaare, in Burkina Faso, it is mainly called Dagara and in Côte d’Ivoire it is mainly called Birifor
