Pokot also known as Pökoot or Suk is a language spoken in West Pokot and Baringo counties in Kenya and Eastern Karamoja in Uganda by the Pokot people.
It belongs to the Kalenjin group of languages which also includes Keiyo, Kipsigis, Marakwet, Nandi, Sabaot, Terik, Tugen and Kupsabiny languages.
Pokot language has approximately 1,000,000 native speakers.
