Kinyarwanda Language

Kinyarwanda also known as Orunyarwanda or Ruanda or Urunyaruanda or Rwandan or Rwanda or Ikinyarwanda is a language spoken in Burundi, Congo drc, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda by the Abanyarwanda people.

Kinyarwanda language has approximately 21,000,000 native speakers.

A person who speaks Kinyarwanda is known as Umunyarwanda.

Kinyarwanda is an official language in Rwanda.

The language has 7 dialects; Bufumbwa, Ikinyabwishya, Igikiga, Ikinyamurenge, Ikirera, Urufumbira and Urutwatwa.
