Anuak Language

Anuak also known as Burjin or Moojanga or Nuro or Päri or Jur-luwo or Anywa or Yambo or Yembo or Jambo or Miroy or Dho anywaa is a vulnerable language spoken in Gambela Region in western Ethiopia by the Anywaa people.

It belongs to the Lwo group of languages which also includes Acholi, Alur, Dholuo, Päri, Shilluk and Thuri languages.

Anuak language has approximately 500,000 native speakers.
