Toposa Language

Toposa also known as Akara or Kare or Kumi or Taposa or Topotha is a language spoken in Ethiopia, Kenya, South sudan and Uganda.

It belongs to the Ateker group of languages which also includes Teso, Turkana, Lango, Nyangatom and Kumam languages.

Toposa language has approximately 450,000 native speakers.

The language has 3 dialects; Eastern Toposa, Western Toposa and Jiye.
