Turkana is a language spoken in Turkana County in Kenya, and few speakers in Ethiopia by the Turkana people.

It belongs to the Ateker group of languages which also includes Kumam, Lango, Nyangatom, Teso and Toposa languages.

Turkana language has approximately 1,016,174 native speakers.

The language has 2 dialects; Northern Turkana and Sourthern Turkana.
