How Our Pricing Works

We do not use one-size-fits-all pricing. Every project is quoted individually based on scope, language pair, and timeline. Here is what to expect.

How Pricing Works

We do not publish fixed rate cards because no two projects are the same. Instead, every translation, transcription, and interpretation project is quoted individually after we assess the full scope. This approach ensures you only pay for what your project actually requires, with no inflated estimates and no surprise charges.

Why does pricing vary? Because every project differs in language rarity, subject complexity, source format, and urgency. A five-page Swahili-to-English business letter is a very different job from a 90-minute Tamazight interview transcription. Quoting each project individually lets us match the right translator, set a realistic timeline, and give you an honest price.

Quotes are always free, detailed, and sent within hours. You will receive a clear breakdown of what is included, the expected timeline, and the total cost before any work begins. There is never any obligation to proceed.

What Changes the Price

Six factors that determine your project quote

Language Pair Rarity

Common pairs like Swahili-English are widely served and competitively priced. Rarer pairs (for example, Tamazight-English or Tigrinya-French) may cost more due to limited translator availability and specialized expertise required.

Word Count or Duration

Text translation is priced per word. Audio and video projects are quoted per project based on recording duration. Interpretation is priced per session. We calculate the exact scope before quoting so you know what to expect.

Urgency

Standard delivery is typically 24 to 48 hours. Rush delivery (12 to 24 hours) is available for time-sensitive projects and carries a premium. Let us know your deadline and we will quote accordingly.

Source Quality

For audio and video projects, clear recordings with minimal background noise are faster to process. Poor quality recordings may require extra listening passes, which adds time and cost to the project.

Document Complexity

Technical, legal, or medical content requires translators with specialized domain knowledge. These projects involve more rigorous quality checks and terminology consistency, which is reflected in the quote.

Certification

Certified translations for legal or official use include additional documentation, such as a signed certificate of accuracy. This service is available for all supported language pairs and adds a small premium.
